Herr Holweg's declaration that the Socialists were morally responsible for the recent Moabite riots, led to an extraordinary tumult. The Socialist members leaped to their feet and shouted, "It is an impudent Me!" Conservatives and Socialists vied with eacih other in invective, the deafening uproar continuing until the Chancellor resumed his seat.
