ST. AUBYN TOWN BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING. The St. Aubyn Town 'Board met on Tuesday. Present: Messrs. sI. E. 11l an - chard (chairman). F. Hudson. P. Lealand, and W. J. Russell. . Correspondence was read from the Minister of' Internal All'airs. sending copy of an Order in Council gazetting that on and after April Ist, 1911, the town district of St. Aubyn shall not form part of the Taranaki County. From the Minister of Agriculture, forwarding copy of Gazette containing the gazetting of noxious weeds in the St. Aubyn town district.

The New Plymouth town clerk wrote stating that the cost of forming Cutfield road from Devon street to (iaine street was estimated to cost £7.—Resolved to pay half cost. The New Plymouth Borough Council forwarded draft deed of agreement between the Borough Council and the Town Board whereby the abattoirs are made available to the town district.—■ Agreement approved. It was decided that the dog tax for 1911 be 7s Cd per dog, with a rebate ot 2s (id if paid to the clerk at the office before 31st March, 1911. The Valuation Department will be requested to make a fresh valuation of the town district, so that it- may be available for next year. i The office will be closed from noon on 24th December to 4th January, 1911.
