THE CITY AGAIN BOMBARDED.

The town was awakened at 3 o'clock this morning. The Rio Grande do Sul furiously re-bombarded the city, the shore batteries responding. Firing continued till four in the afternoon, a number of people being wounded. The inhabitants are panic-stricken and fleeing. The new market was wrecked by a shell, which wounded General Barretto, commander of the garrison.
