A decree specifies the length of notice required in the case of those engarged in the supply of water and light, also workers on railways, and in maritime transport.
MILITARY SECRETS BETRAYED. Received 8, 11.50 p.m. Berlin, December I. Jacob,' a petty officer at Oilhelmshaven, was sentenced to six years' imprisonment for betrayal 'of military secrets.

He was knocked down by Mitten at lowa on Sunday in the race, when he had just relieved Pye, his partner.
