♦ (From Our Own Correspondent.) At a meeting of the Horticultural Society Iveld yesterday afternoon tlie exhibitor who had not complied with the conditions attending to the showing of flowers was disqualified for all Ihis exhibits, and also for life at the society's future shows. ■Mr. Powell White, who is to be married to-morrow, has arrived in Waitara. The shipments per s.s. Paparoa consist of 2451 quarters beef, 247 carcasses lamb, 361 carcasses mutton, 240 boxes sundries, 271 carcasses pork, 55 casks tallow, 785 bales wool, 7 bales leather and 35 casks oleo. The Huirangi mail is now to be a tri-1 weekly one, leading Waitara on Tuesday, Thursday and '-Saturday, l-— -f
