LADY ASCENDS MOUNT COOK
REACHES THE SUMMIT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Miss Dufaur, an Australian lady, accompanied by two guides, returned yesterday to the Hermitage, after achieving the ascent of Mount Cook, Miss Dufaur is the first lady to conquer this mountain'. She made the ascent in 6 hours 20 minutes, from the bivouac.
