VISITORS TO THE BORES. The Agricultural Show judges, accompanied by His Worship the Mayor (Mr. G. Tisch) and Mr. Garter, chairman of directors, visited the Taranaki Petroleum Co.'s bores yesterday morning,, and were very pleased' and intensely interested in all they saw. No. 3 was visited first, and the oil was flowing strongly at the time of the visit. At No. 2 the oil was flowing as stpngly a? ever, and the visitors were much ft* terested in the demonstratien and explanation of the gas and oil as* fuel in the furnace, this being followed by a visit to the refinery. Next they visited No. 5 bore, where drilling was in projgress. There was a continual stream of visitors at the bores throughout the morning.
