Bj Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, ast Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather lias been very warm and ■ hazy everywhere. Cloudy and unsettled conditions have been experienced in both the extreme north and south. Rain has fallen in the far north, with easterly winds, strong to gale. Moderate winds have prevailed elsewhere, with a falling barometer everywhere. Present indication* are for heavy rain and rivers flooded in the far north. Increasing humidity and cloudiness will probably be followed by general rain within the next three days. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, and strong easterly and northerly winds will prevail.
