• *®y Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast: —The weather has been fine and very warm in all parts of the Dominion. Easterly winds have prevailed over the North Island, and | gales are reported this evening in the farthest north. A-northerly gale is reported at Kaikoura, but in other parts of the South "Island the winds are still moderate. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with strong easterly and northerly winds; warm and hazy weather generally, but unsettled soon "in the extreme north and south, and a change in conditions may be expected elsewhere within thirty-six boms.
