SCENE IN PARLIAMENT

INSULTS AND APOLOGIES ALL ROUND. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 1, 12.10 a.m. Ottawa, November 30. A scene occurred in Parliament. A Conservative was speaking, when the Liberals trooped out noisily. tfhe Speaker's demand for order failed to stop them, and cries of "Cowards!"' and "Liars!" came from the Opposition "benches.

The Speaker ordered an apology from the Conservative whom he heard shout "Cowards!" The latter apologised. Thereupon the Conservatives loudly insisted on a Liberal member apologising for an insulting remark unheard by the Speaker, and made some days ago. The uproar continued to grow, and the Speaker was finally compelled to make the Liberal also apologise. The naval debate is unfinished. ■
