A BEACH INCIDENT

A young «narrie<J'. fe woman had taken her sketching mater- a ials and was sitting on the Moturoa "* I beach at 9.30 a.m., when a young man,- .j passed on a bike, riding along the sand ."Jj towards the breakwater. He rode past fcji her some distance and disappeared into.il the lupins, where he divested himself of *9 his upper garments, being naked to thejfjl waist when next noticed immediately % behind her. His appearance an thi»*jS| state naturally alarmed her, so that she- "M started walking towards town, along £ha-'|| beach. He immediately followed her, m • catchinjg. her up near the Belt road,jjw I where he seized her by the wrists, say* li I ing "I want you to come with me." some means* however, she broke suffering nothing worse than a but the next one he tackles might not« 3 be so lucky. He was a dark, clean- ';•& shaven person with a blotchy compexion,, J| about sit 9in or lOin high, and raclmejjlJ| to stoop.
