OUTBREAKS IX WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. A foar-roomed unoccupied house in Hay street, Oriental Bay, owned by Air. Gavin Colvin, and insured in the Alliance for £IOO. was gutted by fire tins morning. An adjoining house of hve rooms, owned bv Mr. W. H. Ward and occupied by Mr. John Orr, was sightly damaged. It was insured in the South British for .-€2OO. Slight damage was also done to Mr. Gavin Colvin'* seven-roomed residence, which was insured m the Alliance for £3OO. A little later on the Fire Brigade flas called to suppress an outbreak in H. J. Archer's drapery store in Upper Cuba street. The flames were suppressed after some damage had been done to the building and stock. The fire originated amongst goods on the. first floor. Ten days ago considerable damage was done to Archer s stock on premises further up the street, and the building also suffered severely. The stock .in the temporary pre to was not insured.
