BUSINESS NOTICES.
There is a charm in saving money on a really good article. Ladies who read Messrs. Morey and Son's announcemens in this issue will be pleased to see that . they can secure fine quilts at prices which come easily within the bounds oi their incomes. On Friday next, December 2, Mr. Newton King will hold his annual sale of pedigree cattle at the Waiwakaiho yards. For several years this sale lias been growing in importance, until it now occupies the position of being one of the principal sales of pedigree cattle in the Dominion. Last year vendors were attracted from as far as Palmerston North and Nelson; but this year the sale promises to eclipse all previous ones, as vendors are sending cattle from Auckland, the Waikato and Hawke's Bay. In mo part of the Dominion is there so much dairying done as in Taranaki, and for this reason it will be found that in no other province is the Jersey so much in request. The Jerseys to be offered at this sale are all of excellent breeding, from such well-known breeders as Mr. Harris (Bombay), Mr. Halcombe (Urenui), Mr. P. Hunter (Porangahau), Mr. C. Stevens (Maungatapere), Mr. Surrey (Huirangi), and others not less well known. As this will be the last opportunity of securing pedigree Jerseys this season, anyone in want ot a beast to head their herd 1 would do well to attend this sale. Catalogues forwarded on application. Do not forget that the sale takes place at Waiwakaiho on Friday, the day after the Taranakt Show. White's have a 72-in. white sheeting in their present stock that, in spite of all the advance in cotton, would take a tremendous lot to beat in value at any time. Its price is one shilling per yard, a figure that would be cheap for any class of sheeting at the present moment. If any man has an idea that he is going to want a nobby worsted suit he should select one of the 59s 6d lot at the Melbourne's .sale. It will be held for him if necessary, on payment of a small deposit, because similar suits cannot be bought later on at this extraordinarily low price. Ambury's are right up to the minuie with a thousand bathing garment* The hot weather upon us and ererybody with the bathing craze should mean a big business for the firm. Whatever you want to wear can be had at Ambury's. -Advt. I
