THE PEARCE-WEBB MATCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wiinganui, Friday. Pearce, who arrived yesterday in connection with the match with Webb on Boxing Day, went for a live-mile spin on the river this morning. The Australian was well pleased with the line stretch of water provided by the Wanganui river. Webb has settled down to steady work.
