Resuming the debate in the Reichstag, Baron von Schorlemer, Minister of Agriculture, said Great Britain had no duty on imported meat, hence her deplorable position of having to obtain 50 per cent, of her meat abroad. It was unnecessary to dwell upon what that would mean in war time.
