THE DUNGOG MURDER
A TRAGEDY OF A YEAR AGO. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 25, 0.25 p.m. Berlin, November 25. The examining magistrate at Hamburg lifelines to say whether extradition proceedings were pending in the case of Reinholtz (not Gerlaeh), who is under arrest for a murder at Dungog, cabled on November 23 last year. The body of a man with his skull badly fractured was found tied in a sack in a waterhole, near Dungog, said a Sydney cable on November 22 of last year. The victim was a man named Coleman. His mate, a German, whose name was given as Gerlach, was missing, and it was believed he had left the country. Coleman's savings, amounting to £77, had been drawn from the bank.
