SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING RAISING OF A LOAN. T.N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 15 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1905," and with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Upper Carrington Road Special Rating Area in tire Taranaki County whose properties are described in the schedule hereunder, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers of the aforesaid Special Rating Area, the capita! value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County within tlie Special Rating Area is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the. ratepayers who do not so consent, the Taranaki County Council Hereby resolves by way of Special Order:— That for the purpose of. forming and metalling the Upper Carriniton Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £SOO at 3% per centum per annum for a period of thirtysix and a-half years; and declares that the cost of raising the eaiid loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. SCHEDULE OF PROPERTIES. Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, C, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, Block 5, Egmont, 9 and 18, Block 7, Cape, and pt. 107, Block 1, Egmont Survey Districts. SPECIAL ORDER STRIKING SPECIAL RATE. ~>UBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the above Board held on Tuesday, November Ist, 1910, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Board to be held in Hempton Hall, Okato, on Thurj. day, Ist December, 1910, at 1.30 p.m., and intended to operate as a Special Order, viz.:— In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1900, the Okato Road Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows - . That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £IOO (being 10 per cent, of the original loan of £1000), authorised to be raised by the Okato Road Board for the purpose of (1) forming, grading, etc., further portions of Dover Road from end of present metal; (2) paying off indebtedness incurred by original loan; and (3) in payment of costs of raising and the first year's interest on loan, the said Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of one-ninth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Dover Road Special Rating Area, comprising sections 52, 47. 66, 72, 56, 61, 64, 84, 89, 98, 80, 71, 78.' 79. 83, 88. 93, 97, 103, 104. 107, 128, 40, 4a, 55, 60, 46, 50, 51, 34, 65, 70, 36, 41, Block VI., sections ■l7, 19, 16, part sections 168, 12, 11, Block VII. and 9ections 4 and 6, Block XL, Cape Survey District, and that such Special Rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36% years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
