SUMMARY AND FORECAST. • By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' -weather summary and forecast: —Warm end gloomy weather has been experienced generally. Rain has fallen on the west coast of the South Island, and in the southernmost district northerly winds have prevailed, strong in parts. The barometer has fallen everywhere. Present indications are for strong northerly and westerly winds, veering to southerly in southern-districts. Rain is probable generally, and a falling barometer is due in most parts of the country, but a temporary rise will probably -. soon take place.
