Mr. Newton King notifies the public that, owing to the Taranaki Show being held on Wednesday next, November 30, he has postponed his Stony River sale to Monday, December 5. The public are reminded of the sale of second-hand ■ and slightly damaged iron and timber which Mr. Newton King is holding at the Haymarket on Saturday next, the 26th inst. The greater part of the iron is practically new, haying been in use only a few months as r temporary building. To anyone wanting iron for building sheds or outhouses this sale should offer an exceptional opportunity. Farmers and Jersey fanciers are reminded of the annual sale of pedigree cattle which Mr. Newton King is holding at his Waiwakaiho yards on Friday, December 2 (the day following the Taranaki Metropolitan Show). This sale, which has taken several years to work into its present position, is now recognised as one of the principal sales of pedigree Jerseys in the Dominion, cattle being sent here for sale from all parts of the Dominion. The cattle to eb offered are all from the hreds of wellknown breeders, and the sale should prove a fine opportunity for Taranaki farmers to secure cattle of this strain, and so improve the milking and testing propensities of their herd#. Catalogues will be forwarded on application to the auctioneer. Do not forget that the sale takes place on Friday, the day after the show.
