HOMING.
The New Plymouth East End Flying Club held a race from Palmerston North on Thursday. The weather was all that could be desired, and fast times were recorded. Nine members competed, forwarding fifty birds for liberation. The result was as follows: —W. H. Boulton's The Nark, 3hr. 30min., 1; H. J. Moverley's , 3hr. 30min. ssec., 2; W. Brans'grove's Vandyke, 3hr. 40min., 3; S. Lovell's Salute, 3hr. 41min. lOsec., 4.
