NEW PLYMOUTH. Mails will close (subject to alteration) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as follows: For Wellington and South, also for Auckland and North, daily, per Mail at <J.IS ajn. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17. For Australian States, Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements and Continent of Europe (also specially addressed correspondence for United Kingdom) due London Dec. 23., via Brindisi, close at 6.15 a.m. For Auckland and North per Rarawa at 7 p.m. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18. For Raratonga, Tahiti, Canada, West Indies, United States, United Kingdom, and for specially addressed correspondence for Continent of Europe, due London Dec. 19, via 'Frisco, close at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19. For Australian States and South Africa at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington per Rosamond at 10.30 a.m. On and after Thursday, November 17, mails for the Opunake line will close here at 9 a.m. and arrive here at 12.15 p.m. daily. NOTE.—Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti per Talune from Auckland close here on Monday 21st at 6.15 a.m. I Mails for Canada, United States, etc., via Vancouver, close here Tuesday 22nd at C.15 a.m. (due London Dec 28).
