WAITARA NEWS

(From Onr Own Correspondent.) The Waitara Borough Council and Harbor Board were yesterday advised by Mr. W. T. Jennings, M.P., that the Bridge Bill had been safely carried through the Legislative Council. From Humorous enquiries being made, the Horticultural Show to-morrow week will be interesting. Information has been asked from many places, and thenseems every probability of a successful show. Mrs. C. H. Townsend has donated 5s as a special prize in the sweet pea collection, and 5s for the best collection of cut blooms.

Owing to the absence of the S.M., only default cases will be heard to-day.
