NATIONALISING INDUSTRIES
A NEW SOUTH WALES SCHEME. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 13, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, November 13. Mr. Beeby, Miuister of Labor and Education, referring to the proposed nationalisation of the iron industry, said the Government had no intention to rush blindfolded into such an enormous venture. Experts would be appointed to make full enquiry. If the report were favorable, the Government was fully determined to develop the industry on a large scale, with a view of manufacturing all railway material required in New South Wales and supplying the Commonwealth with materials for the transcontinental railway.
