The Board of Cricket Control will hold three trial matches for the selection of test teams, and will also regard the gentlemen and players' matches at Lords and Oval as trials. The following players will represent Fire Brigade C.C. against Athletic at West End this afternoon, play to start at 2.30 sharp: E. Billings, B. D. Newman, W. Gunson, L. Bullot, J. Bullot, B. Bullot, W. Roch, A. Higgs, T. Tuohy and W. Francis; emergency, B. Stannering. The following will represent the Law against Egmont Village on Saturday, at Egmont Village: Bewley, Clapham, Elliott, Greatbateh, Harding, Hill, Johnson. Lash, Mclsaacs, Newall and TurnbuU , • The following will represent the Carrin«ron Road senior team against Waitara at Waitara to-day:—Avery. Lash, Jordan. Southall, Perham, W. McEwen, Tioward. IT. McEwen, Marcussen. W. Hooker, and Tribe. Carrington Rnad juniors will be represented against Inglewood at Carrineton Road to-day by the following:— C." W. Hooker, Cooper. Koti. L. Richards, B. Taylor. Grant, Cray, W. Healy, Sinclair, Turnbull and Mcßea.
