AMUSEMENTS.
NEW PLYMOUTH ORCHESTRAL UNION. J Patrons of this society are reminded of the concert to be held in Whiteley Hall to-morrow (Tuesday) evening, when the entertainment which was postponed from October 27 will be given. The programme to be given by the orchestra contains popular music, and includes "Tancredi Overture" (Rossini), selections from "Tannhauser" (Wagner), "William Tell" (Rossini), "1 Travotore" (Verdi), "Boccaccio" (Suppe), and "A Spanish Carnival Fantasia" (Round). j Vocal items by Mrs. Baton, of Hawera, and Messrs. Haslam and Nixon, of] New Plymouth, are sufficient guarantee that the concert will be up to the usual high standard of this society. The instrumentation is full, there being twenty-three performers. Honorary members are reminded to use their tickets, which admit two.
