By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, November 4. At a meeting of the Otago Centre oi the Athletic Union to-night it was decided to enquire the reason why the New Zealand executive had submitted proposals for amalgamation with the New Zealand League of Wheelmen without consulting the centres, in the f.ve of the decision arrived at at the annual conference that the union sho'i'<, take over the control of cycling. Enquiry wss also to be made why the executive adopted rules for the control of cycling without referring the matter to the centres. Complaint was also made that no rules had been submitted to the centres for the control of the Sheffield Handicap.
