WANGANUI HARBOR.

A FAVORABLE REPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night.

In a report presented to the Harbor Board to-night, Mr. Leslip Reynolds, consulting engineer in connection with the scheme of harbor improvement now in progress, makes reference to the gratifying results obtained. "I say candidly," he says, '-'that the work so far carried out should be regarded as an index of the improvement ahead, and that your Board will have the harbor of the coast, provided that funds are available to complete the work you have now in hand." Tile engineer further says he looks to see the harbor made capable of admitting ocean liners at Castleeliff, which in his opinion will be the centre very shortly of an enormous trade.
