PERSONAL.
Mr. Justice Denniston, who is on a. visit to the Old Country, has been staying with his cousin at Balnatliy Castle, Ireland.
Mr. D. Elliott, formerly in charge of the stock district of Hawera, has been appointed to a similar position in Tauranga. j
The Miss May Yohe, who is reported to have been stricken with paralysis in America while singing at a cafe, has a sister in Wellington. She also was at one time a most capable actress, and married a well-known business man.
Mr. Sid. Griffiths who was recently transferred from the Christchurch branch of the Bank of New South Wales to Sydney, on arrival at the head office there received further marching orders for Western Australia, and will probably be attached to the Perth branch. Mr. Kerr, S.M., is still in indifferent health, his recent holiday not having greatly benefited him. He has consequently been compelled, sayS the Dominion, to take another term of leave from duty, which lie will spend in the South Island. Mr. Haselden, S.M., relieves him at Wanganui. |
