BOWLING
(By "Leader.") The Fitzroy Club open their green today. The New Plymouth Club's green is in 1 tip-top order for the official opening of the season to-day, and, given fine weather, there will be a picturesque scene on the grounds, for the lady friends of members and visitors always take full advantage of the cordial invitation to attend extended by the Club. At 2.15 p.m. t)he rinks will be drawn. "Leader" will be pleased if secretaries of clubs in the district will furnish items of their club's play during the season, both in public and private matches. In fact, in reason, all items of interest to members of the respective clubs will be willingly accorded space in our columns.
