THE NUAMOTU CLUB. At ii ladies' general meeting held av the club-house on Tuesday, officers were elected for the ensuing year as follows: Captain, Miss Percy Smith; hon. secretary, Mrs. Arnold Jones; committee, Mrs. Paton, Miss Stephenson, Miss Bewlev, Miss Brewster. Mrs. Glasgow. A motion was carried that the Edmunds medal shall be played for next year six times (once a month) and that the winner each time shall receive a club button as a memento, and that there shall bt no playing oil" for the medal at the end of the season. A discussion took plaet about holding the open tournament for ladies at Easter time after the men's tournament, several members being in favor of its being held later in the season. It was decided, however, to try it once more at Easter time (with permission of the men's committee) immediately following the men's meeting. I
