A COUNCILLOR'S DISABILITIES

By Telegraph.—Press Association.' Dunedin, Last Night. A summons has been issued calling on J. B. Shaddock, a member of the City Council, to show cause why he should not forfeit his seat on the Council. The ground of the summons is that he consighed and supplied certain goods (three ranges and goods of a total value of £25 14s) to the Council, contrary to the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act. The date of the hearing has not yet been fixed. ■ It is stated that proceedings mav be taken against other councillors, who are said to have supplied goods to the Council.
