RIFLE SHOOTING

TARANAKI RIFLES. The Taranaki Rifles fired a handicap trophy competition on the local range on Saturday afternoon. There was a very strong left rear wind blowing all the afternoon. Under these circumstances some very fair scores were registered. The attendance of members was very disappointing, there being only five competitors out of a possible of fifteen. The following are the scores:—
