Mr. Watkins on Saturday received a wire from Mr. H. Okey, M.P., stating that, in answer to the question, the Minister had stated that Mr. Clarke was now free from his duties in connection with the University, and would recommence his work on the geological survey without delay. It is to be hoped that the work will be pushed on with all possible speed.
