Buyers are only filling immediate requirements; 36s 9d is askea for South Australian October-November shipments, and 365, from three ports, for December-January shipments; 36s 9d, New South Wales steamer; 3Gs 9d, New South Wales steamer afloat; 34s 3d has been paid for a near South Australian parcel. There is a small enquiry for Australian, spot, at. 37s 9d to 38s. Flour.—Market inactive. Australian patents, 26s 9d to 275. Oats.—La Plata November-December shipment, 13s. BUTTER MARKET DEMORALISED. Received 28, 9.15 p.m. London, October 28. The butter market is demoralised. Danish is quoted at 114s to 116s; choicest Australian salted, 106s to 108s; and exceptionally good to 110s. Unsalted is scarce, and 114s is offered, occasionally 116s. Secondaries are quite neglected, and are nominally worth 100s to 104s. Choicest New Zealand saltea is selling at 112s. The mild weather prevailing in Europe is prolonging supplies. "
