RECLAIMING THE HEATHEN.
HINDERED IN THE NEW HEBRIDES. By Cable.—-Press Association.-^Copyrisht. Sydney, October 27. Mr. Reid, a missionary from the New Hebrides, states that there is considerable friction between French and British settlers in the islands. Native labor is scarce, and Mr. Reid accuses the French of securing such laborers by giving them grog.
