AN UNFORTUNATE WOMAN. By Telegraph.—Press Associativa. Christchurch, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day on the body of May Victoria Riggs, aged 24, who died in the hostipal on Sunday. The evidence showed that the girl had come to Christchurch lately, and had a miscarriage. Blood-poisoning supervened, and the girl was sent to the hospital, where she died. She was single when admitted to tne hospital, but was married while in the intsitution. The girl attributed the trouble to a fall, but the doetors' evidence was contradictory. A verdict was passed that death was due to septicaemia, following miscarriage, and there was no evidence to show°how it was caused.
