Winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry lOlbs extra. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 20s. About one and a-half miles. To start at 12 noon. 2.—MAIDEN PLATE, of 40 sovs.; second horse to receive 10 sovs. from the stakes. Open to all horses that have not won a race at time of starting. Weight for age. Entrance, 25s on night of general entry. About one mile. To start at 12.45 p.m. 3.—LEPPERTON STAKES, of 40 sovs.; second horse to receive 5 sovs. from the stakes. Weight, Sst. Nomination, LOs; acceptance, 20s. Distance, five furlongs. To start at 1.25 p.m. [ 4.—WAITARA CUP HANDICAP, of 100 sovs.; second horse to receive 15 | sovs. and the third ihorse 5 sovs. from : the stakes. Nomination, 20s; a# < ceptance, 40s. To start at; 4.30 p.m. f B.—FLYING HANDICAP, of 50 sovs.; second horse to receive 10 sovs. from the stakes. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 20s. Distance, six furlongs. To start at 5 p.m. PENALTIES. The winner of any Handicap Flat Race (after declaration of weights, if handicapped under Sst 101b) to carry 101b penalty; for every additional race 61b extra; if handicapped at Sst 101b or over to carry only half the above penalty.
