To start at 12 noon. 2.—MAIDEN PLATE, of 40 sovs.; second horse to receive 10 sovs. from the stakes. Open to all horses that have not won a race at time of starting. Weight for age. Entrance, 25s on night of general entry. About one mile. To start at 12.45 p.m. 3.—LEPPERTON STAKES, of 40 sovs.; second horse to receive 5 sovs. from the stakes. Weight, Sst. Nomination, LOs; acceptance, 20s. Distance, five furlongs. The winner of any Handicap Flat Race (after declaration of weights, if handicapped under Sst 101b) to carry 101b penalty; for every additional race 61b extra; if handicapped at Sst 101b or over to carry only half the above penalty.
