I AN AWKWARD DESCENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association, " Napier, Last Nigkt. ■ A balloon ascent was made from the , Recreation Ground on Saturday, when <3 the aeronaut, C. J. Sebphe, ascended to - M a height of 2250 feet, as registered by J an aneroid. On his descent by para- _'j chute he landed on top of the chronic ward of the Napier Hospital, smashing four of the roof tiles.
