(From Our Own Correspondent.) The, following are the amounts paid out to-day (October 20) by the loca. dairy factories:—Moa XIUB3, Maketawa £544 and bonus of £OO2, Turiki £S!)D, Tarata £lB2, Lepperton £504 and bonus of £651. The last of a series of socials' organ ised by the Druids' Dance Committee was held on Tuesday, and was a pronounced success. Dancing was contin ued until the early hours of the morning. The Church of England bazaar was opened to-day in line weather. There was a large attendance, and business was brisk. The proceedings were opened by the Mayor (Mr. J. W. Winlield), who, after reading a letter of apology foi the absence of Mr. J. it. Hine, ALP.,'made a short speech. The stall holders were. Produce stall, Mrs. Jaconib and Misses C. Hanierton and Lorna Williams; sweets stall, Misses D. MewJand and Hilda Drake; mystery stall, Misses Katigan, M. Winlield and G. Bennett, and Mrs. Mc'Bethj plain sewing stall, Mesdames Surrey and Herman and Miss 1. Lightfootj fancy-work stall, Mesdames C. Koberts and F. Bennetts, and Miss Minchin; novelty stall, Mrs. Itogers and Miss llazelton; Christmas tree, Mesdames Phillips and Martin, and Miss Beryl Henderson.. The refreshments were in the hands of Mcsdamcs Winlield, Gernhoefer and, Frank Brown. The Gipsy's tent was superintended by Miss N. Mcßeth, who, on her palm being crossed with silver, guaranteed to gaze into the crystal and foretell the future of all who paid. A feature of the bazaar was the mystery stall, where for a small sum one could buy a bulky package guaranteed to contain something more or less useful, but in every case well worth the money. .

On the produce .stall w£-*e exhibited audi bargains in l'arm and garden produce as rejoice the heart of the thrifty housewife, and in the afternoon in particular assistants were kept continually on the "go" to satisfy the demands of the customers. The sweets stall displayed a most enticing and attractive array of homemade as well as other confectionery, the sweets being set oil to great advantage by the dainty baskets in which they were placed. On trhe plain sewing stall was 1 to lie found every variety of useful garments, j the work of the members of the sewing guild, for the most part. The fancy-work stall was replete with dainty and artistic creations, and lent an ornamental touch to the whole room. The novelty stall was composed of nicknaeks and suchlike, any of which might be purchased for the small sum of one shilling. The delight of the younger members present was the Christmas tree, where numbers of toys, etc., were displayed. A feature of this was a Iteet of toy yachts, fashioned and rigged by llr. E. Heuderson. The stalls were decorated with flags, draperies, etc., and the whole hall presented a most attractive appearance. On every side there might be seen evidence of the care and trouble Uken by the promoters, who deserve the greatest credit for their effort. During the evening Misses Mcßeth and Stevens danced a catchuca and skirt dance, their light and graceful motions earning the plaudits of an appreciative audience. A spelling bee was held during the progress of the bazaar, and faw won, after a good finish, by Mrs. Richardson. i
