Bates weather summary and forecast:—imt weather has prevailed northward of New | Plymouth and Castlepoint, but cloudy and unsettled conditions are reported elsewhere, with rain on the west coast and southernmost district. The barometer has fallen slowly everywhere to-day, and moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are lor fair, but hazy weather northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and cloudy weather with rain is probable elsewhere. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds will probablyprevail. The barometer will probably fall slowly everywhere.
