NEXT CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting of the newly elected management committee of the N.Z. Lawn I Tennis Association this evening, it was decided, in pursuance" of the resolution passed by the general meeting of the Association last week, to offer the New Zealand championships for the year 1910 to the Marlborough Association. The terms and conditions are that the N.Z. Association will take all profits or bear all losses in connection with the meeting, and will allow the Marlborough Association £2 per court for preparation. The Marlborough Association wa» also informed that the meeting will be attended and managed by the secretary of the N.Z. Association. This is a deviation from the terms offered by the management committee, which went out of office last week. The meeting will take place at Christmas. The management committee decided to-night to advertise for a secretary at. £SO per annum, with special allowances to be arranged by the Association.
