In the matter of "The Companies • Act, 1808," and of the Kaupoikonui Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Limited. "VOTICE is hereby given that a petition was on tin; 3rd day of September, 1910, presented to the Supreme Court of New Zealand by the above-named Company to confirm a special resolution of the Company passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the Company held on the Seventh day of September, I'9oß, and ' subsequently confirmed at an extraordinary general'meeting of the said Company held on the Twenty-ninth day of September, 1908, and which resolution runs as follows: '• 2. That the provisions of the Memorandum of Association of the Kaupokonui Co-operative Dairy Factory Company. Limited, lie altered so that the objects for which the Company is established shall be extended and that the following be further ob- - jects for which the Company is established: (e) To lend moneys to such persons and on such securities as may seem expedient and in particular to shareholders-, customers, suppliers, members, and others having dealings with the Company. (f) To borrow or raise or secure the payment of: money by the issue of or upon bonds, debentures, bills of exchange, promissory notes or other securities of the Company, or by mortgage or charge of all or any part of the Company's real and personal property (present or future)-, including its uncalled capital, or in such other manner as the Company shall think fit to redeem or pay off any such securities. (g) To draw, make, accept, endorse, discount, execute and issue promissory notes, bills of exchange, bills of lading, warrants, debentures or other negotiable or transferable instruments." And notice is further given that the said Petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Ten o'clock in the forenoon on Tuesday, the Fifteenth day of November, 1010, at the Judge's Chambers, Supreme Court House, Auckland, or on the first day or so soon thereafter as counsel can be heard, and any person interested in the said Company, whether as creditor or otherwise, desirous to oppose the making of an order for the confirmation of the said resolution under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for the purpose; and a copy of the said Petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the Company's Solicitor, Mr. A.
