Wade. ' An application for the removal of Si I 'disqualification of a horse for taking part in an unregistered meeting was not entertained, the full term of two yeai> not having elapsed.

TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. The same gentlemen sat subsequently as the T.J.C. Committee. The club resolved to accept Mr. G. H. ■Saywell's offer to erect the new Saywell patent starting machine on the course. I The sale of race cards was left with 0. Cook. i The use of the Club's property was granted to the Taranaki Agricultural Society for their annual spring show on November 30 and December 1. Catering arrangements for the forthcoming meetings were left in the hands of the chairman and secretary to arrange. ; An advertising committee, comprising the chairman and secretary was set up. Mr. T. Paget Jones was elected a member of the club.
