A MONSTER SHIP. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Tokio, October 'l7. The battleship Kawachi, 20,830 tons, has been launched at Kure. The Kawachi was laid down on January 18, 1-909, and a sister ship, the Settsu, at Yokosuka, on April Ist following. Each will be fitted with .turbine engines developing a speed of sKIVfe knots. It is understood they will be armed with twelve 12in, ten Cin, and twelve 4.7 in guns.
