THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast—The barometer has risen considerably above the normal everywhere, but a slight fall in the South on Saturday afternoon preceded a more rapid rise, and roush weather, especially about FoTeanx Straits, on Saturday and Sunday nights, and changeable, has been experienced generally and the nights have been cold. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere shortly, especially in the South, where the conditions are now somewhat threatening. The winds will probably veer to easterly in the North and northerly in the South, and freshen everywhere. The weather will probably be unsettled in both the extreme north and south and increasing haziness will prevail elsewhere.
