BOWLING

THE GOVERNING BODY. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Auckland, Saturday. A meeting of delegates of the Northern Bowling Association affirmed the principle of a governing body with district centres. It disapproved of rules giving the governing body so much power of veto, considering the centres should be allowed greater discretion in matters affecting local government and tournaments. It was also decided that the headquarters of the Association should be at Wellington for the present, but be moveable from time to time as the Association may decide. A number of other amendments were also recommended for the consideration of the executive.
