PETROLEUM NEWS.
The chairman of directors of the Taranajki Petroleum Company informs ua that the price which the company hau placed upon its property and options, etc., will be cabled Home to the Thmfr of New Zealand to-day. It would have been done yesterday but for the holiday. The directors have decided to insert an advertisement in English financial papers, announcing that full particulars regarding the company can be obtained at the Bank of New Zealand in London. This should save a good deal of delay in bringing intending buyers and the sellers into touch with one another. Oil continues to flow satisfactorily at both No. 2 and No. 3 bores.
