The Daily News states that Mr. Redmond would naturally in America, whose federation of Stains enjoy important powers of self-government, urge Trish Home Rule as part of a larger scheme of Home Rule, and federation all round without relaxing the demand f or Home Rule on its own merits. The incites the opponents of Home Rule to see how the matter looks in a larger ] °rspective. The Nationalist official press of Ireland is silent with regard to the attacks <.n Mr. Redmond, but the provincial press is less reticent, and declares that heland's claim has been bartered away. Unionists regard Mr. Redmond's <lp claration as an indication of the hopelessness of Home Rule.
