BOARD OF ENQUIRY SET UP. A board of enquiry has been set up. and will sit at New Plymouth to-nigti't, to enquire into the charges of insubordination preferred against Captain Mills, officer-commanding the Taranaki Guards. Colonel Okey, V.D., will preside, and the other officers forming the board will br Captain H. H. Browne, N.Z.M. (headquarters staff) and Captain Wright, of tin Hu-wera Rifles. This board will not deal with the application of Captain Mills for an enquiry into the reason why he was passed over in the recent appointment of a major in the Taranaki battalion, and which is the cause underlying the whole of the more recent charges of insubordintion.
