WHEAT AXD FLOUR. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, October 10. The wheat and Hour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,330,000 quarters, for the Continent 3,090,000 quarters, Atlantic shipments 141,000 quarters, Pacific 50,000 quarters, total to Europe 1,8(55,000 quarters, including Argentine 04.000 quarters, Russian 820,000 quarters, Danubian 400.000 quarters, India 14,000 quarters, Australasia 4,000. LOXDOX PRODUCE REPORT. Messrs E. Griffiths and Co. are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs Mills and Sparrow, dated August 2(5: The weather during the early part of the week was fine and sunny, but to-day-close thundery conditions prevail. Danish: The quotation has been advanced- two kroner, but the quality generally is not satisfactory, otherwise higher prices could be obtained. Tt is reported that the cattle are not altogether in such good order as ther should be, and there is no doubt something in this, judging from the indifferent quality that has been arriving this summer. Siberian: Arrivals this week are about 3000 casks less than last week, and a further decrease is anticipated for next week. Trade continues fairly good, especially for best-grades, which are scarce. French: Owing to the wet season, the quality is not giving the usual satisfaction. There are very many complaints all round about the keeping properties of the butter, and this is the real cause why prices have remained unchanged for such a long time. Higher prices could easily be obtained for better quality, but as it is shippers have been afraid to force quotations up, but we think they will have to do this now very shortly, as production is falling off. Australian and Xew Zealand: There are still a few parcels selling ex cold store which show fine quality, but seconds are neglected; there is a good remand for really choice butter, and, as already pointed out, it is difficult to secure this in other butters, and buyers are anxiously awaiting the first arrivals of the new season's colonial. Cheese. —Xew Zealand: Stocks are now in small compass and there is very little doing. Canadian: Trade continues fair, at aoout the same prices as last. ■MARKET CONDITIONS. Messrs J. B.
